I have been eyeing the man's yard across the street with serious envy...I laughed the other day while he spent 3 days raking the dirt to prepare for his sod. I wondered "why all the work when it only took the guys who did my yard 1 day?" As it turns out, buddy used to be a landscaper and knows very well the tricks to the trade. Prep-work! Pete is his name. He came over to offer us his left over sod to replace the couple dry looking patches we have on our lawn. How neighbourly. All I was hoping for was an apple pie.
