The great erosion

We finally got some rain. It started yesterday at 2pm and it's still raining. A perfect rain for our sod. It's also the type of rain that if the lot next to us is not graded and sits 3 feet below our lot; well you get the idea. So this morning after Adam and I woke up we looked out to see how green our yard was, we also noticed that there were two, four foot sections that had totally eroded and our sod was now looking like it had hills and valleys of it's own. I should have just left it like that and landscaped it. I think Bev mentioned something about 3D landscaping being the "new thing"!

Today the drywall guys are coming to fix a couple problems, and aside from that, we're not doing much. I need to paint the basement bedroom and bath, and get moving on a few projects. Perfect rainy day for it.

Cheers!

Love your Blog Mich and Jay this way we can see what you are up to. Great to see updates almost daily. Your house looks great with or without 3D landscaping. Can't wait to see your new digs. We're takin good care of the plants you had to leave behind cause of the limited space. Hope my green thumb doesn't fail me. Anxious to see you. Probably the week after Fathers Day. Until then, take care of yourselves, we think of you alot each day. What a great adventure you are on.. fresh air and all.!!!!
Love the three of you.

Michelle and Jay, The landscaping looks great. I don't think you need any help from us. Just change the tree, add a few more rocks, take away a little of the grass and add more dirt, some mulch and a crimson queen japanese maple and you're in business. Hope all is well and kiss Jethro for us. We hope to visit soon. Let us know what weekend is good. Take care, Bev, Marty, and kids
